More Information

HD Dual-Channel Car and Fleet Dash Camera with IR Night Vision and GPS

Main Features

  • Road and cabin cameras record at the same time in 720p HD
  • 120° wide-angle road lens and 170° ultra-wide cabin lens
  • Four infrared LEDs light the cabin automatically after dark
  • Built-in GPS saves position, speed and route with the video
  • 3-axis G-sensor and FORCE button protect important files
  • Loop recording, so the memory card never fills up
  • Video out, AV cable and remote for live view on a monitor
  • Records to microSD up to 128GB (sold separately)

The zBlackBox 2000HD is a two-camera dash cam for cars, trucks and fleet vehicles. One lens records the road, the other records the cabin, and every minute is saved with your speed, GPS position and G-forces. It starts recording on its own when the vehicle powers up, so there is nothing to remember at the start of a trip.

The two lenses sit at opposite ends of one compact unit, about the size of a radar detector. A 120° wide-angle lens covers your lane and the lanes beside it, while a 170° ultra-wide lens takes in the driver, the passengers and the side windows. Both record at once in 720p HD at up to 30fps, so the two videos always line up to the second. If you only want the road, the cabin camera can be switched off.

When the cabin gets dark, a light sensor switches on four infrared LEDs that light the inside of the vehicle for the camera without distracting the driver. The low-light sensors are rated 2.0 lux for the road and 0.5 lux for the cabin, and a built-in microphone records sound with the video unless you switch it off.

Loop recording replaces the oldest ordinary video when the card is full, while files saved by the 3-axis G-sensor or the FORCE button are protected. On a Windows PC, the included software plays both videos side by side with your route on a map, your speed and heading, and a G-force graph, and backs up clips as standard AVI files.

There is no screen to distract the driver and no internal battery to wear out in the heat. Connect the included AV cable to a monitor with a composite video input and use the remote to watch the road, the cabin or both live. At about 30 minutes per GB with both cameras, a 128GB microSD card holds more than 50 hours of video.

Tell drivers and passengers that the vehicle has a camera, and check your state's rules on recording audio.

Protects What Matters

G-Sensor and FORCE Button Lock Event Files

The Road Ahead, and the Cabin Behind It.

The zBlackBox 2000HD is a two-camera dash cam that keeps a full account of every trip: what happened outside the vehicle, what happened inside it, and how it happened.

When something goes wrong on the road, video of the street is only half the story. A 120° road camera and a 170° cabin camera record together in 720p HD, and GPS position, speed, G-forces and sound are saved with the video, minute by minute.

There are no buttons to press at the start of a trip. If the vehicle has power, it is recording, and loop recording keeps the card from filling up while protected events stay put.

In a taxi, delivery van, truck, shuttle or your own car, it helps settle insurance claims, answer complaints and show how a vehicle is being driven.

Important Files Stay Locked

A 3-axis G-sensor with adjustable sensitivity detects a hard stop or a collision and saves that file as a protected event. Press FORCE on the camera or the remote to protect what is happening right now; the button glows at night. When the card is full, loop recording replaces only ordinary video.

Replay the Trip, Not Just the Video

The included Windows software plays the road and cabin videos side by side while the route follows along on a map. It shows speed and heading in mph, km/h or knots, plus a 3-axis G-force graph for braking, turning and impact. Save a still from any frame or back up clips as standard AVI files.

Made for Vehicles That Work

Made for Vehicles That Work

A record of the road and the cabin protects the driver, the passengers and the owner of the vehicle. Taxis and rideshare get a record of every fare, fleets see how company vehicles are driven, and the 170° cabin lens takes in every row of seats in a limo or shuttle.
